Steeler Nation

ok - so i promised to write more & 10 days go by without anything.... i deeply apologize my dear friends. to be perfectly honest, nothing entirely exciting has happened. dave has now officially become a yuppie - i hired him to work in my office. he is the personal legal assistant to the personal injury attorney. yes - technically i hired him, however the attorney was the one who decided who he wanted. what is it like to work with your husband? well, let me tell you.... it saves my sanity. yes folks - it is true. without dave at the office i truly feel that i would completely lose my mind - i can vent to him without potentially involving some of my staff. (i keep telling everyone if they move out here i'll get them well paying jobs, but no one's taking me up on it!) although i will admit that 2 of the 'problem children' put in their 2 week notice and as of today are no longer working there. i have never been religious, but i am starting to believe. my 2 worst shit starters are no longer a thorn in my side and the rest of the office is happy as well. these 2 were the only ones - everyone else are angels (well, you know) and i truly enjoy not only their positive and fun attitudes but they are hard-workers as well. dave replaced one of them and i hired another woman as a replacement and as of right now i am still wary of her. we'll see how she turns out (she is definitely on a short leash though). enough about stressful environments. on to more exciting news.... which i don't have - but i do have pictures. although dave did find the nastiest and biggest spider i think i have ever seen in my life. it was crawling on one of our plants outside the patio door - i think it was from south africa. spots and all. good news is that football season has begun - thank the heavens above.

right now the pigskin is my only salvation in the land of bbq - i may not be visiting arrowhead anytime soon, but i can lock myself in the house and know that annoying family members don't dare to disrupt our weekend vigil. (i thought you'd like the weeping pic)

it's funny, but it took me forever to find tonia in that first picture - she only has half a head! From the pictures it looks as if the wedding must have been just awesomely wonderful. Good on ya!
