the hobbit house is ours! we are worthy! our lease begins oct 1st - now we just have to move all our crap. we're definitely going on a purging binge - that much is for sure. we're also hiring movers to take care of all the furniture. no more moving this crap on our own. we just went to our new landlords' place to sign everything - mind you their house is less that 20 ft away. and now i am unbelievably jealous because they are living in my dream home and have my dream backyard (and we are living in the carriage house). but i am excited to be living there. and the husband knows what a raclette is! (mind you, he's also Dutch - as in right from Holland 7 years ago). now all the fun stuff, like packing, changing accounts, changing addresses - all the exhilirating things start. i will definitely get lost getting to my new place though. it's very confusing. but i will send out an email with our new address

    we're excited! i'm even more excited because we're hiring movers! it's totally different and we won't have a yard, but the character of the place is worth it. now you HAVE to come & visit (plus we'll be closer to where all the cool stuff happens)

    yay! I, too, am working on moving (into a bigger place than where I am right now - just one room right now!). I have to somehow find a subleaser for my place in K'zoo first though...

    You'll have to post pictures of your new hobbit house however.

    definitely.... we'll have 2 weeks to move our stuff. and once we're in & set-up we'll take a bunch of pics.

    paul - you still have your place in k'zoo? are you planning on keeping it?

    I do still have my place in k'zoo. I'm not planning on keeping it, but I can't get out of my lease until march/april so I have to find a subleaser OR someone to take over my lease. Know anyone? lol
